I was with my Coach Lou and we were standing next to Bob. Lou asked Bob how ‘the Kid’ would do in the final and Bob calmly replied, “wait for the last 50.” As I recall, Michael was only 4th or 5th at the 150. He ran down the field that last 50 to finish second and make the team. 👏
